Kantara is an excellent movie. As I belong to the Mangalore region, I felt very connected to my culture and religious beliefs. When everyone was criticizing Rishab Shetty for bringing Daiva into the film, even I initially felt the same — wondering why Daiva should be portrayed in cinema. But after watching the movie, I could truly see his efforts and dedication in making it. Without the blessing of the Daiva, it wouldn’t have been possible to perform like that. Watch this film as a film, and please don’t try to mimic or insult the Daivas.
