The Last of Us Part 2: Gameplay: 10/10 Game Audio/Dialogue: 10/10 Soundtrack: 10/10 Graphics: 10/10 (Most Importantly) - Story: 1/10 The story was a huge letdown compared to the first game. I completely understand that Naughty Dog was going for something different but this was not the game for that. Killing Joel was the huge impact for the last of us community not just because of his death but how he died was completely not like his character. If he had a more meaningful/heroic death it would have been more understandable. Besides that the story was very sloppily paced and in my opinion I don’t believe a second game was necessary. I do appreciate the grounded documentary that naughty dog posted and check it out if you can. The team but a lot of work into this game and it is visually breathtaking. I believe this is the most conflicted game in history and it’s all a matter of personal opinion at the end of the day. It is just a video game.
