It’s disappointing. Most were upset with the casting at first but were willing to be fine with it because we were finally going g to see the story we love so much ACCURATELY depicted. Instead we got this. It has direct quotes and most of the scenes even if they are missing HUGE parts and symbolism. Many of the characters are there but with completely different personalities. Gave actually seems like an okay guy. Percy’s mom in the show is absolutely not the same character as Sally in the books. Scenes are rushed and stuff that would have been learned through Percy either by him figuring it out or at a completely different time and because information is given the way that it is it completely changes the feel of the story and Percy himself. In some ways the movies are better than this show so far. Though there are some funny and good additions but parts were left out that did not need to be even if it is a show and not a book.
