It feels like this was written and created by someone who doesn't really like romantic movies. It seems like someone callously put something together, threw in every cliche they could think of, and figured people who like romance won't know the difference. I never got a warm fuzzy feeling, and it was cringe-worthy. I love romantic movies, and this wasn't one of them unfortunately. I watched it because I wanted something light and mindless, and it did fit that bill. But I left feeling like there wasn't any love put into this script and this production. There were some cute elements to the story, and I think it could have been a really cute movie in the hands of someone who loved romance and was determined to tell a better story. I liked the actors, and the premise was cute, but unfortunately overall it fell short.
