so season 1 is like a prelude to rondo of blood, and even potentially symphony of the night which is cool. i feel like richter's in his awkward teenage phase, so i'm hoping he gets better as he gets older haha it's a decent show. don't write it off. people are review bombing it without actually having watched the damn thing so i'm giving it 5 in attempt to combat it. anyways we all know damn well why people are review bombing it. annette was a nothingburger of a character and now suddenly everyone is acting like they butchered her when all they did was give her a new design, on top of her other three existing ones. not only that but they gave her a super interesting background that doesn't insist upon itself the way people claim it does. really my rating is a high 3 or low 4. animation is incredible. they expanded on characters nicely. just wish it was sillier and stayed true to some original castlevania themes but i;m really interested to see where it goes.
