I wish I had seen this film as a teenager. It was powerful, poignant yet subtle and so very beautifully played out by each actor. How this still needs to be said BAFFLES me: if you pressure someone into sex, any subsequent consent you receive is tainted and deeply problematic. I hope this film taught many a lesson - though i can see from many of the bad reviews (by men who seem to think this is an acceptable way to get laid) some aren’t ready to look in the mirror. So nuanced and again, absolutely mind blown with how realistic this film is.
