The buildup took a long time which was understandable. I just wish the ending was more satisfying. I wanted to see the psychiatrist squirm more. I wanted his reactions as the patient pulled away. It just felt like the guy was like I’m done and that was it. It’s just seems like 27 years of manipulation needs more than a couple of scenes where he is scared the door is open and such. You felt all bound up and no real unbinding.
