George Bolanis

This movie is like the fair haired stepchild to hereditary, all fizz and no gin. I will give the filmmakers a lot of credit keeping the visuals and atmosphere engrossing enough that they can distract you from how doa the intellectual side of this movie is. While the filmmakers try to follow the “show don’t tell”, they do it on the cheap resorting to cheap and intellectually bankrupt short cuts that do not allow for authentic character studies and believable development which is critical in something like this.
