Fantastic book, total game changer for me to find the discipline I always wished I had. I read this book several years ago and it honestly has change my life in multiple positive ways and I cannot think of one negative way. Although I’m not religious I found the interpretation of the ancient text helpful.
This book in my opinion is mainly for younger people looking for guidance in this society that has cast aside personal responsibility and incentivised cheap thrills as if they will improve you well being, many young people have been sold short, this is a effort to correct a degradation of western morals.
I am a plumber in my early 30s so anyone reading this knows my perspective, I read this several years ago, it has made me a better son, grandson, partner, friend, colleague and improved my well-being. I am no longer wondering lost making excuse for my shortcomings but doing everything I can to correct them. The journey is long and hard and it will never be complete, but I strive towards being the best influence I can be on myself, the people around me who mean the most and the world we all live in, not inputting negativity toward other people to mask my insecurities.
Thank you Dr Peterson, to meet you one day for a conversation would be a dream come true, as it would be I’m sure for many people. Keep up the good work you are shining light.
