At first I thought, a bit cheesy and over the top.. then I continued to watch and I'm so impressed with the introduction to fashion, Paris and the intricacies of marketing. The cinematography of Paris was delightful. Pertaining to the characters, there's a sweetness to it that I endear to as well. The fashion that they all wear is enjoyable. There was no need to make the main character lose so much weight. She was beautiful before being made to lose weight for the role. It was unnecessary to make her look anorexic. Going to guess it was the decision of a man with a small member and or one who hates women. The ONLY dislikable and frankly insulting (sociological) architecture I dislike about the show, is positioning older women as being disgusting for being pregnant and or bitter and ignorantly hateful as they've created Sophie's character to be. I don't buy it. Older women have more often than not been guiding angels in my life and career. Thus this aspect of the older women character is unbelievable to me.
