Don’t listen to pretentious critics. Movies are made for people, not thesauruses. This movie looks at a horrific period from the eyes of a child and just when you think it’s solely a comedy, it resolves into a beautiful blend of everything you never knew you wanted. If you like movies that make you feel, you won’t be disappointed. 6/5 stars.
