The best pirate movie of all and more realistic than Pirates of the Caribbean. Characters are fascinating and script fantastic. (And you get to see Darth Vader sword fighting.) I watched it often in my youth.

Great characters, dialogue, cinematic environment are the foundation here for a great cowboy drama - It's more. It's actually a sci-fantasy horror picture as well. It's so crazy it could only be put together successfully by a team of the best. Look at the credits to see the cast and crew are all that!

Good to look at if you like wild CGI but predictable, confused and overblown. The acting would've been super if there had been a super script. The action is again about over-explosive CGI combat, over and over. No suspense or sincere good feelings to be found.
