I don’t even know what to say but that was a waste of 2 hours and 3 minutes. I wanted to love it. It had a lot of action but I just found it to be quite unbelievable and annoying. Especially Sophie. I was hoping she was killed off just because I found her so irritating. And the “do I love her or do I not love her” bruh. Make a decision. And Sophie with the “I don’t understand you” and then when she was hurt she suddenly understood him. Nah. You didn’t understand him - you felt the need for revenge and that clouded your judgement. Ugh. Just watch the trailer. That’s the best part.

Brutally raw and honest and beautiful. This was recommended to me as a 98% match and it was on the nose. Bridget was so real and heartbreakingly human. The cast was exceptional and perfectly cast. This is definitely one of my favorites. I’m a hard sell and I truly didn’t have much hope for this film - but the real news drug me in - kicking out the dude in the morning, the awkward interview, meeting Frances and her completely dismissing Bridget, being aggravated about seeing your friends annoying kid on social media for the hundredth time, the reality of an abortion and the feelings …. I could go on and on - just watch the movie. Bring some tissues.

Uuuhhhmmmm - what did I just watch? I don’t understand so many things. Did the island mess with time? Is that why they had so much time and then no time? So the one girl was a writer? What’s with the 80’s music? The symbol? I think I have more questions now having watched this movie. Why was Sam not named Sasha? He definitely looked like a Sasha. The gratuitous t&a shots in the waterfall was just…odd? The fact that Sam says “this is the part in the horror movie where I get mad” was just too cliche for me - ME - a lover of all horror movies, 80’s movies, and even SciFi B movies. There has to be a part two with found footage and their other rich friends or parents going to look for them and unlock the island’s mystery. I give four stars because it was just stupid enough for me to keep waiting for it to get even more stupid. Grab your friends and some popcorn and watch this - just to throw popcorn at the screen. It’s really that bad.
