I think it interesting that you are celebrating a Black actor who plays Jefferson, but when a white actor was cast to play MLK 5 years ago, it was attacked and the author then made sure to put a clause in that he must be played by a Black person. When are you going to stop separating people? When is it going to be who is qualified and not whose skin in right? Should I be insulted by a Black person playing a white person like you are in reverse? No, I should see an actor. Would you be insulted by a WET, but I should be fine with BET? Stop the separation.
