I genuinely do not understand the low reviews this film has gotten, to me it was absolutely beautiful and I think it was an amazing adaptation of the book. I would've loved to see them go deeper into Boris' backstory and mention Astrid or Kotku but overall a lovely and emotionally exhausting film.
