So watched this the day it came out with my mum...and I gotta say that it was a sensational movie!! It's rated a 15 and I think rightfully so, given how emotionally heavy and intense it was (with a bit of gorey images here and there). However both my mum and I adored the movie and at the end of it my mum said to me "what an exceptional movie...very impressed!" The acting was just out of this world! Flipping awesome, and a massive well done to Sandra bullock (who plays main character - Ruth) for portraying the story line and her role so well! Its definitely a bit of a tear jerker but I love the message of the story. I found that it was an unpredictable, totally unexpected, pull on your heart strings kind of movie. But just fantastic!:) I was very captivated by Sandra's performance in this and thought that she did an exceptional job!! It's not very light hearted 😅 so I'd say be emotionally prepared to shed some tears but definitely worth watching. The scripting was on point and so was the acting from the whole cast. I'm a 14 year old myself but I have to say I actually learnt a lot watching this eg, poverty, criminal life, parenthood, conviction ect. To be perfectly honest COULD NOT SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH OF THIS MOVIE!! Just incredible! Was expecting for Sandra's performance to be pretty impressive given how great her acting already is, but I was absolutely blown away by her in this movie. It was all put together so well and the choice of cast was absolutely perfect. HIGHLY RECCOMEND! Brilliant film! Hope this helps :))

Absolutely loved watching this!! Me and my whole family went to the cinema and we all adored it. It was funny, the scripting was good, acting was spectacular, it was witty, there was action ect. This had Sandra bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt. I've seen a lot is Sandra's movies and I already love her work so I'm slightly bias about any movie of her's I watch, but I haven't really watched anything of Channing Tatum's, but in this he smashed his role. He was so funny and played his part really well. The chemistry between Sandra and Channing, worked wonders for the relationship between their characters, Loretta and Alan. The whole cast are fantastic! It definitely didn't fail to put a smile on my face and I enjoyed listening to my family and the rest of audience laugh along too. There are sweet moments between Loretta and Alan, that really brought it all together. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND for anyone that needs cheering up or as a fun family movie!! Hope this helps! :))

Just awful, not worth watching. My friend watched it and said it was a very predictable movie with bad acting and a cheesy story line. In my opinion I agree, it's a typical teen kinda movie (not thats a bad thing) but I think the acting and the script let's it down, and I'm a teenager myself. Actors/Actresses have potential. I think if the story line and the script was improved and different and not so 'predictable' I think it would compliment the casts ability in terms of acting and could've been a much more successful film. But I wouldn't watch it if I were u. Really not worth it . I think hiring a tick tock dancer as the main lead (Addison Rae) was a bad idea as I think her acting let it down as well. I would be interested to have seen what it could've looked like with a better script though. I know I keep repeating it but it genuinely was just absolutely terrible. It was a waste of time watching it.
