Lover meets folklore - Wonderful lyrically. It does lack a popish song but at his point that shouldn't be expected from her progression, esp with no single prior to release. This is my 2nd favorite overall album she’s released - still great hooks on some and lyrics that hit. I appreciate how she has shorter songs, which I take as more monolgue-ish songs that tie the album together. She easily could have cut those but they’re important and I think listening front to back are integral to the story shes telling. 9.5/10. If you read this far, my favorite is The Alchemy :)
