Loved this to bits. The series highlighted that love is sometimes difficult to negotiate because the expectations of both is most often largely dependent on the past experiences of both . I loved the way this series recognised that and am delighted in the manner that the issues underpinning Alice and Jacks relationship were portrayed. Before watching Alice and Jack , I did read negative reviews by such 'powerful' critics as from the Times and the Guardian . Go and get stuffed is my response to their negative critiques
