I really enjoyed the book and knowing it was written about her grandparents added impertus to read it. It's hard to believe their extreme struggles for love but a heartwarming ending. Amazing their love endured considering the racism, bias, poverty, politics, and slammed doors that confronted their happiness. The history of Hiroshima and a brave survivor of that time. May that part of history never be repeated again.
