I want to question the use of average people to write reviews. I am an average person with an average education. Am I capable of understanding wit, whimsy and wisdom portrayed in a 85 minute Hollywood-tainted film, and relaying the same to another wishing to watch the same? Perhaps. So I write to those wanting same wit, whimsy and wisdom I look for - GO. To those not seeking same - DON’T GO. You’re welcome.

Intense. It’s a deep dive into PTSD - which is about trauma, sure, but it’s also about shame and how it makes PTSD so different.

Bad history usually makes for bad movies. Abusing reality to make a statement about feminism takes away from the true feminist power from the REAL story. The patriarchal structures in place make both women heroes and villains - what can be a more compelling story? Alas, it’s long and boring and just wrong sometimes. As a lover of history - watch a women’s hockey game.

Politically incorrect and fun has hell.
