I will would have gave Netflix five stars because Netflix did their thing . The film is high quality with great editing, however this review is not based on the quality or the editing it is solely based on the characters For one, I’m so tired of women being portrayed as victims every time a man takes over their mental . They are women that’s out there that do you get swindled by men like Anthony all the time so it’s not unexpected that she may have failed into the same manipulation as others before her. But it’s been going on for way too long, I understand the first time being swindle OK she gave him $10,000 for the time within the first year or there relationship. Anthony was telling her that you’re going to be in this magical majestic type of life and your dog is going to live forever but never happened. Now it’s year 2 and 3 and still nothing happen girllllll come !!!!! A tiny part of my brain feels like she did not expect her restaurant to be so successful, in reality all she wanted to do was feed people Vegan food. She is very much a introvert and did not expect her restaurant to gain so much fame and money she couldn’t handle all that attention with her type of personality. Anthony allowed her to believe this world she so desperately wanted to live in that she allowed herself to be manipulated. Even towards at the end and Serma was on the phone with Anthony still joking and laughing like this man didn’t ruin her entire life. That was enough realization for me to let me know that she knew exactly what she was doing. My point is I do not feel bad for her she allowed her this to happen to her life. Shout out to the employees who kept her restaurant together, there are the only people in film I feel bad for.
