SPOILERS AHEAD
This is a dreg of a book. The plot, pacing and characters where all over the place. Several parts of the book made me wonder if the author was writing in their barely disguised fetishes.
The plot can be summarised as "good women getting abused by bad man and good woman get their revenge fantasy against bad man" and guess what? It's men who save the day in the end. There are zero stakes, even when the author shifts perspective, it is clumsy and seriously fails at setting up anything of substance.
All the women are written terribly. Either because they are all lying, gossiping, being rich (legitimate reason stated by Millie) or abusers themselves, it is easy to not care about them or their struggles. Any sympathies that are supposed to engage the reader are forced.
And I'm not exaggerating about the fetishes. This could easily fall under urination kink (brief mention of lactation kink) and torture porn to the point it was distracting. There are several points where the author describes the women characters needing to urinate and it goes into a weird amount of detail.
Another frustrating aspect is the dealing with SA, IPV and rape. These very really issues are not dealt with in a manner that is respectful or meaningful to anyone whose lived through it. The author has taken a surface level approach to mental health and personality disorders, which there is zero excuse for. If the author felt uncomfortable writing about such things, either write in a way that is still impactful or don't wrote about it at all.
I could write more but I am tired. This book was finished out of pure spite in a couple of hours.
