I have just started to build upon my reading habit recently. This was my 9th book which I read. I kinda have a OCD to finish the book that I started and this was a struggle for me to finish.
In my opinion I was bit intimated by comprehensive medical terminology used to describe the complex emotional functioning of our brain. During parts of it I felt that book is supposed to cater psychologist, psychotherapists and related professionals. The book also makes most of the references from 20th century which I am not sure our relevant in todays context. I enjoyed reading the parts of the book where emotional functioning was illustrated using real life examples. In my opinion I felt the the topic could have been kept short and crisp rather then going into mind boggling detail of human anatomy ( of brain)
