One of my all-time favorites...an ageless classic. Steve McQueen had an intense personality and such charisma on screen. He's the one who pushed for the authenticity and on location filming. He brought in Peter Yates to direct and some of his professional motorcycle and car racing buddies to help choreograph the chase scene giving the movie the drama, resonance and performance of a well-executed Italian opera! Loved it in '68 and still love it now.

Ridiculous movie. Too many different ideas jumping all over the place at once!
