Stunning,on so many levels. It does more than adequate justice to the original, by adding a whole new mystique to the original storyline. Klaus Kinski is so terrifying, that at times, the viewer feels the need to turn away. Horrifying and beautiful at the same time. A true testament to Werner Herzog brilliant direction!
