Fast becoming one of my top 3 favorite Metallica albums. This one pumps out the high energy with every single track being like an ear worm that gets you headbanging. Mind you, I'm a critical Metallica fan. I'm 40 growing a tad too familiar with them, yet I've seen them live 4 times. I await each Metallica release and for this one I am not disappointed. I'll be seeing them that 5th time for this. Lux Æterna is like a thrash punk metal that gave me chills the first time I heard it. Screaming Suicide is dark, heavy, and melodic with one killer riff that hooks you and might be my favorite track right now. James shows he still has a high vocal range with some great screams on Chasing Light. If Darkness Had a Son is a close second favorite track right now. Inamorata is 11 minutes long and well worth every second of your time. There is no bad track on this beast. Do something nice for yourself and the band, and buy it.
