I tried to see this film in a cinema in Sydney I was blocked - the cinema withdrew it - I was dumbfounded this has never happened before There were protestors at the Last Temptation of Christ with signs asking (quite politely in truth) people not to see the film But we could still go in and see it People on TV shows in Australia tried to portray Cassie as an anti-feminist idealogue and the film as propaganda - none of them had seen the advance copy she sent them. This reaction shows how important this film is the extent people went to - to stop other people seeing it A monumentally important film.
