This movie is easily the best non-Disney animated musical of all time (Though later on, Disney did buy 20th Century Fox, the studio that made it.). This movie is not only the best of its kind, but it's better that most Disney movies as well. The animation is absolutely gorgeous, the music is phenomenal, and Anastasia is a better role model than the Disney princesses of her time (and some contemporary ones as well). My one problem with this is that the villain, Rasputin, felt more like an add-on to the plot, which would've been just fine without him. Even with that issue, this movie still knocked it out of the park. Well done Fox!
