Just terrible, as a constant reader I just wish they hadn’t bothered, it is not a sequel to the books, how could it be when Roland didn’t know Jake. I totally get that it would be practically impossible to recreate a film that would come even anywhere close to the complex narrative of King’s vision, which is why I stick to my initial comment, they just shouldn’t have bothered. And I just have to say the scene where Jake goes through the portal in the house was actually quite comical, considering the actual version was scary as hell!
