I wouldn't even give this game a star if it wasn't for the good graphics and effort they put into the content for ultimate team. I've played for over a decade, and I have like many put extra money on the game to get more packs in hope of something to either sell or use in game. However they say it isn't "gambling" well... OK EAsports.
After reading many of the reviews of people who enjoy playing with many of their favorite players, from different countries and League's it is always the game play on every new game FIFA. It always seems to be the same problem's with game mechanics, kick off glitches (where opponent runs right through your whole squad, but never works the other way), rebounds the seem to defie physics and always end up back at the opponents feet. That's just a small portion of in-game inconsistencies.
Players stats: this seem to be pointless and just for show, when a player with 99 pace can be caught with a 78 paced player. Defenders who have height and good headers yet can never win an in air battle from a corner.
Team chemistry: just like player stats this also seems to be pointless and just something to add to objectives for SBC's and other ultimate team effects. If I play someone with 5 team chemistry, I would expect it to be effective on the players performance in the game through passes, interceptions ect.. however non of this is ever going to happen, it's too much work for EAsport.
I've been playing football games since ISS Pro (PES, Konami games). And for the budget put into pes compared to the budget of fifa, yet pes could make the team chemistry meaningful and make you work to improve it. FIFA & EASports care about money not the quality of games made for the people who play them.
Time will tell if it was FIFA's involvement with EASports or just EAsports for the reason of every game being the same just better graphics.
