There is nothing original about the Rings of Power. It has no uniqueness to it and just tries utterly to please all ideologies of today's mostly American society. It's just cringe and hard to watch. I`m not brainwashed by this woke society that exists in U.S. so I can comment with an objective mind. The writing is poor, the acting is poor, this just doesn't respect Tolkien's work at all.. it just feels really mainstream. Dialogue is poor and cliche and cringe. I am the biggest fan there is when it comes to LOTR (not talking about the movies specifically, but in general about Tolkien's work) and this really disappointed me. I just really feel that writers, directors, actors etc. all need to be more original and independent when it comes to their work and not try to buttlick everywhere and please everyone. This absolutely isn't even on the same planet when comparing it to the movies.. you can't even compare. It's a heartbraking joke, sadly :( .
