I thought it was just going to be a bland book about a boy struggling at first, but it just kept getting more and more twisted. The author has beautifully contorted these little shapes on a page into a masterpiece. Have you ever read a book that changed your whole way of thinking about something? This was that book for me. I love WW2 Historical Fiction, and usually only get to see one side of the equation, that being the people in concentration camp’s side. In this book, i got to explore what it means to be a n-zi. (my apologies for censorship, i don’t know what i’m allowed to say in these reviews.) However, i’m not saying they did good things at all, just that i got to understand the horrible things that were going through the n-zi’s minds. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to get into historical fiction.
