Absolutely abysmal!! Went on for 4 episodes too long. Was disjointed and disturbed! The plot lines were grotesquely dark and twisted in a way that a silly Amazon prime show should just never be! I absolutely hated it by episode 5 and hate watched the last episodes in order to just write this review.
Don't watch it, it is disgusting!

Having loves the book, I was skeptical the film would be able to live up to it! And the on set photos looked troubling. But it exceeded all expectations and I absolutely loved the film! Beautifully shot, and truly moving and sensitively handled! Will see it again.
