I rather enjoyed it. In the words of Dalí, “if my works don’t leave you confused— if you are able to reach and define what I wanted to convey through my art, I have failed. Because even I cannot define my art” so I feel much of the same sentiment here. It was artful. As apropos for such a persona as Salvador Dalí.. I think it was quietly extraordinary. We must also consider the film takes place much later into his life, at a time where he is aging rapidly —not only physically but aging as an already born misfit with the addition of culture defining changes through the decades while also being forced to come to terms with his mortality. Bravo.
I was also very happy to hear the mention of the Disney film collaboration —‘Destíno’.
