I've loved the Fantastic Beasts franchise since Day 1 so I already knew right off the bat that I would enjoy this one as well. People who keep trashing it because it's "not like Harry Potter" need to understand one thing: It's NOT Harry Potter. 😆
The Secrets Of Dumbledore was the perfect mixture of drama, suspence, action, and humor. The plot had a very clear structure that culminated in a satisfying "resolution".
I like the fact that they mentioned and expanded on some of the things we only read about in the Potter books - Ariana's death, Albus's relationship with Aberforth, and Grindelwald's rise to power.
The love story between Albus and Gellert was really brought to life and I'm glad the writers didn't shy away from it anymore by leaving things ambiguous -- Dumbledore tells Grindelwald that he's in love with him during the opening scene of the movie.
All in all, it's definitely a must-watch! And if you're a true Potter fan, I'm sure you'll be just as excited as I am towards the end when we get a glimpse/preview of the epic duel we only read about in the books.
