Love-hate relationship with this book but I'm so glad that I gave it a second chance. I almost lost my sanity reading it. It's the only book that has ever shifted my entire mood for the whole day. It's a Sci-fi book, but the characters were realistic, maybe too realistic that you can't decide whether you fvcking hate them or relate to them.

Actress was good but the main character was so unlikeable it turned my moral compass around and almost made me root for the villains. I mean, who was gonna root for a boring and selfish home wrecker?
Like, we had Deena, fighting for love through centuries of curses, and Ziggy, our scrappy queen of Camp Nightwing, and now we get someone who can't even commit to respecting relationships OR having a personality?
The other characters were also extremely cliche and the dialogues were laughable.
Since Fear Street trilogy is my favourite horror series, I had high expectations for this movie, they really just slapped the Fear Street name on a glorified Wattpad villain origin story.
I'm gonna give it one star for Megan only. My new fictional crush aka the only good part of the movie.
