I think it does fair social commentary, the first half trips you like the first one, and must be taken with a grain of fun which wasnโt the trilogyโs original tone. In fact all the tone is different but my 14 year old brother loved it for what is worth without watching the og trilogy, so for what itโs worth Lana the director paved the way for a reboot of how we conceived the matrix in the same way she matured and the society kind of did or otherwise
