I have never been so disappointed in a film in my entire life. I marked the release date on my calendar the day I first heard about this movie, being such a big Elvis fan. There was no substance, no real story line, jumped all over the place. Somebody that didn’t know a thing about Elvis would come out of there thinking “what’s the big thing about this guy”. It never really completed any storylines at all. To artsy fartsy. I recommend the Kurt Russell made for TV movie in 1979 over this huge disappointment of a movie. Kudos though to Austin Butler, what a talent. I think he’s the next big thing, and wow I can only imagine how well he would have done with a true biopic!!
