I haven't had a game suck me in like this in a long time. The story-telling and world-building are full of charm and heart, peppered lovingly throughout the game which is fun and addictive. Children of Morta is capital-B Beautiful. I reckon games today, with their focus on graphics and monetization, have made a wrong turn such that games like Children of Morta aren't more prevalent.
