It was dreadful. Sentimental dross and a ridiculous plot with some plastic Irish tropes thrown in for good measure. Prior to watching it I knew nothing about it but judging by the cast my hopes were high. The score given it by Rotten Tomatos of 39 per cent errs on the side of generosity.
