I love The Love Boat. I remember singing the song in the 1980s. This show, Dynasty, and Fantasy Island were shows I watch in the 1980s. Aaron Spelling had shows on ABC that were great! It took me years to figure out that Gavin Macleod was on this show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Gavin was the captain on the ship.
