I LOVE THIS SHOW SO FAR!!!!! SPECTACULAR!!! The storyline is creepy and unique, the acting is amazing, and by the fourth episode we learned enough about the characters and their backstories that we’re emotionally invested in what happens to them. The little boy is super talented, and mature enough that I enjoy his character, which is good because he’s in every episode and has a lot of dialogue. I think he holds the key to the future outcome of the residents of this town…..! I’m also happy to see that this show will have a second season, debuting sometime in 2023. Super excited!!

Despite early suggestions within the show that it would simply scare you, The Haunting of Hill House slowly turns into a spellbinding masterpiece full of sorrow and longing. With some mesmerising acting in particular from Carla Gugino as the mother of the Crain family, the series shows the tragic events played out in Hill House around 20 years prior and the stain they left behind. Every episode oozes emotion, creating a bunch of characters so frail and fickle you can see them in yourself. This is perhaps the greatest strength of the series, as every character is completely unique with strong and subtle thoughts, feelings and actions. This creates extraordinary depth within the show as a whole which is essential to link such wide ranging characters together. The music is also fantastic, giving a childlike wonder to the house and everything in it which makes the events occurring inside feel even more significant. There are still some scary moments that keep you on your toes, done cleverly to stop you guessing when they will come, but not so many as to override the emotional weight being supported by the characters. This show is a masterpiece and I highly recommend you try it.

I have never write a review before, so this is just me trying to describe the show as best as i can, how it makes one of the special series of all time. Amazing, just amazing, i love the cast, the story, the development on each character, not just that, what makes this story special, that it takes your emotion on a flippin extreme rollercoaster like the cart even goes off the track and it still continues, and you still want to ride that rollercoaster. I have never regretted my entire life rooting a couple that is so perfect for each other that they turned on each other. It broke my heart so much that i have to see Joe and Love slowly going from a lovely couple just looking for a whole new start to trying to kill each other, cheating on one another, even when Joe doesn't even care when her wife is about to banged by someone else.
