I mistakenly thought it would be about genetic science. But I persevered until page 187 when a paragraph which showed the childish and cowardly central character's contempt for "white people", and that he thought all "white people" were racists, made me see red. I put the book down in shock, and didn't pick it up again except to throw it in the dustbin.
The plot of the book is clearly semi autobiographical so I think it is reasonable to assume that the attitudes of the central character are similar to those of the author?
