Strange Harvest is a low‑budget indie mockumentary in the best way possible. It nails the feel of an authentic documentary, from the ominous voice‑overs and grainy police footage to the staged reenactments that seem real enough to make you forget it’s scripted. If you love the genre, you’re in for a treat.

⚠️ Spoiler Alert: A letdown with unlikable, shallow characters. Sisters Chloe and Nicky are awful. Chloe’s judgmental, Nicky’s selfish, while their son Ethan is an emotionless void, worsened by his actor’s stiff, terrible performance. Side characters like cops, FBI agents, and people in Chloe's circle are not much better; cardboard cutouts spouting exposition and clichés. There is virtually zero character growth. Pointless Subplots, like FBI agent Olivero’s (why’s he so nasty for seemingly no reason?) random assault on Chloe, go nowhere. The ending flops too. An innocent is framed, the killer walks free, and Rodríguez’s unexplained corpse on the beach is just confusing. A dull, immoral mess fails to engage or earn any emotional investment. NOT WORTH WATCHING.
