I kinda have to agree with the 1 to 2 star ratings, I grew up watching this to all way from dragon ball, dragon ball z Kai, dragon ball gt, to dragon ball super, and it’s kinda annoying that they get reset all the way to the buy saga again, they had soo much they could have continued off of, and there were still so many enemies even with gokus ultra instinct he still had trouble fighting, I know a lot of you didn’t like dragon ball gt either but in my opinion at least they paved the way for the future generations to take up a new story, I like the fact that they introduced the demon realm more in daima but the enemies are not even worth it. This anime DB Daima is really really hard to watch and not get bored or frustrated, they’ve yet again erased all of the hardships that every character has went through to get where they are in the series. I just read an article on why they did this and it was to give a nostalgic feeling to it, they said that almost no one was more powerful than goku in dragon ball, and in dragon ball super that there wouldn’t be any enemies that could stand against him, and that blew me away, that’s not true even in the slightest. There were so many enemies and opponents that goku had issues with, tien, piccolo and his creations, master Roshi when training, Mr. Popo, krillen, he even ran into some walls the red ribbon army sometimes, and in super there were still plenty of enemies that could match him, the gods for instance, the angels, jiren and that one other guy that became a god of destruction in the tournament of power, and let’s not forget to write Hit off either, Hit has proved that he can to like the Saiyans reach new heights in the midst of battle, and they are other life forms throughout their universes that could also posses a threat. I feel like they are going to backwards and just trying to grasp at straws now instead of actually taking ideas from fans or the manga and continuing a good story. And some of the stuff in the story now with Daima in my opinion doesn’t even match up with the other dragon ball series, for one there was already a way into the demon realm on earth and now they have to have a teleport machine?, 2, out of the games now and dragon ball series before Daima, demons were not this weak, and I’m sure they could have beat these guardians in the demon realm to obtain the dragon balls a thousand times over, so in another way if that was the case then why would they need to come to earth to use their dragon balls, I think this series would have been okay if it actually came out right after the buu saga and then continued on to db super, but now all expectations are almost completely gone for this anime, I feel like it doesn’t have an end goal or any actual progress with the characters besides getting the demon realms dragon balls to revert themselves, at least in GT they still progressed the characters and their story and goku unlocked a new form, and gave some story to the Truffles I think is what they were called that inhabited their planet before the Saiyans came and annihilated everything that wasn’t Saiyan and made it planet vegeta, and again I said up in the beginning at least they paved the way for the future generation to take up the story like many other nostalgic anime have done, like Naruto, Inuyasha, and even Negisama got continued with his next gen of descendants with QU holder This is quite a disappointment,
