Skylar Blade

As a Ninjago fan, this is a good movie. The fact that it isn't related to the actual series allows it to be as goofy as it wants while keeping the whole ninja thing, it definitely feels like apart of the Ninjago franchise despite being non-canon. Got a good laugh out of this, genuinely a nice movie. It's really fitting for Lego's most popular show to get a movie and I'm so happy it did.

Not that bad, felt a bit too fast paced though. Too much unnecessary kissing scenes. The amount of lost siblings found kinda gets a bit overwhelming, and the jokes aren't that funny. The story is pretty basic and predictable, honestly Trolls World Tour definitely did better than this movie did. Not a lot of world building included in this movie either so all these new creatures and species just being thrown into your face without context is pretty weird, but they don't really serve a huge purpose in the story anyways so I guess it's okay? But I enjoyed the colors and songs, so yeah. Gets 3 stars from me! Honestly just an "okay" movie, not bad, but not particularly amazing either. Just alright, it s a fun watch if you enjoy the songs like I do. Though I have to mention, there's like a musical number in almost every scene so be prepared for that. Definitely a whole lot of musical numbers compared to the previous 2 movies. It's an alright movie, might watch again in the future if I'm looking forward to listening to songs with a bit of plot in between. (Which happens often, believe it or not.)
