This was a good movie. Definitely a better overall story and development to Broly from the original. There was something definitely missing from the savagery and ruthlessness of Broly from the original. If you cancel out the original movie and absorb this story without bias, Broly's fighting and overall lack of experience makes total sense. I felt like they tried to use too much of the dramatic effects of the animation. All the flashing animation took away from the fighting sometimes. Taking it all in, a much superior movie from the original overall but Broly just wasn't that savage. Powerful but not the savage in the original.
