If I could rate this movie zero stars, I would. It was literally WORSE then the Percy Jackson movies, and those were HORRID. I had such high hopes for this movie and was so excited when it came out on Disney+. I started it with my family, and straight from the beginning I knew it would be bad. Like, Mulch Diggums? He would NEVER EVER expose the fairy world unless he had to blackmail Commander Root, who by the way, was supposed to be a man constantly smoking a fat cigar but was played by Judi Dench (like what??), to get out of time in jail. Then, it showed Artemis SURFING. Artemis Fowl Jr. despises physical exertion and would never do that, he gets picked up from school in a limo by Butler, he would never lose his temper, he got in trouble because he hacked the school computers to make the test questions harder, and gods I could go on but I won't because I don't feel like typing more, so yeah. But actually I am. The idiots didn't even SLIGHTLY follow the plot line, Artemis always wears a suit, he kidnapped Holly when she was replenishing her magic, we don't know who her parents were and they had nothing to do with this, and his father was a friggin crime lord, he got captured by Russian evil idiots, and he didn't know ANYTHING about the faires, Artemis Jr. wanted to blackmail the faires for gold, and I could STILL go on, Butler didn't almost die, you never call Butler his first name, he finds that out in the Infinity Code, where Spiro's goony shoots him, Holly and Artemis do NOT really become friends, they become acquaintances that don't hate each other, AND EVERY THING IS WRONG WITH THIS MOVIE AFSJDJFKEJDBSKF I'M SO MAD I COULD SEND THAT PRODUCER TO TARTURUS FOR THIS MOVIE I AM SHOCKED

It was funny and had quite a few unexpected plot twists!!
