I have never disliked a protagonist that I was supposed to root for more than I do the main character of this program. I actually cheered when her kid died because i got tired of her bad decision making costing people their lives. Lazy writing led to a lot of predictable exposition and in season 3 I finally just got tired of it. Sam not being killed off earlier, Daddy Johnson just letting himself get killed, and Scarlett letting herself be manipulated by her sister so easily just forwarded the narrative the writers wanted to take with no believable motivation. I was really into this show because I wanted to be but season 3, episode 11 was my breaking point. Thumbs down for audience engagement
