Positives: I am generally surprised on how a anime about basketball this good. I always found that anime makes things seem unusual and turns it into a good story. Kuroko is a very well relatable character because we lost friends but how he lost them was very tragic. I cannot find a single character in this show that majority of the fandom hates ot underrated. I liked Kagami in the anime to, because the writers understand that not everything should revolve around one guy and execute properly. Many shows/movie from live action to anime try to do this but fail. Or it works but then they lose focus.
Negatives: don't have any major complaints but i do have. One of them is that they introduce a important figure right before they beat them. For example they introduce the "three kings"which is very intimidating if they did it properly. They did to put tension and dread into the viewer but it could've been higher if there was more focus on it earlier. Then they beat them in arc. This isn't a huge complaint for tbe show overall since they don't repeat it but it major complaint for season one separately. In some arcs the writers lost focus which made the show snailed to one episode to one epsiode. It doesnt happen that often but it happens.
Overall review: I totally recommend this! Even if you don't like basketball give it a try. I don't like sports but the story will win you over. Season one has some issues but they are mostly fix. You will likely won't noticed them as fast I did. Since I look at every in a critical eye. The show good so 9/10. Nothing perfect. No show. No movie. No comic. No drawling. Nothing can reach a full 10/10, but you can certainly be great.
